Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore
The hotel was built on a 50-acre resort and opened in 2010. The hotel consists of three 55-storey hotel towers with a height of 191 meters. They are connected by a 340 meter long roof garden (Sands SkyPark). The hotel is home to the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool. This has a length of 146 meters. However, the pool is only accessible to the guests of the hotel. The hotel also features 20 dining options and a world-class casino. The construction is said to have cost around eight billion Singapore dollars (around 4.6 billion euros). This makes the complex one of the most expensive stand-alone casino complexes in the world.
Marina Bay Sands at night
The hotel is spectacularly illuminated at night. The light show changes the color of the hotel. You can see this well from the opposite side.
View from Observation Deck
From the Observation Deck you have a fantastic view over the city. Be sure to book your ticket in good time, as the queues get very long, especially at peak times. You also have a beautiful view from the restaurants. However, the prices are very high. But it is a very good alternative to the Observation Deck.
